Moore made a special appearance with the Terps as they prepare for the 2024 season
By Will Backus • 1 min readMaryland's football team has some extra competition as it goes through its fall camp slate: Governor Wes Moore dropped by this week to lead the Terrapins through exercises and participate in individual drills.
Moore, who wore a No. 24 jersey and donned a Riddell SpeedFlex helmet, looked like a natural while running through ball security shells with two defenders in stride. Based on pictures posted by Maryland football's X (Twitter) account, he also caught passes in the routes on air period with the team and spent most of his time with the offense.

Moore is an offensive guy, after all. He played wide receiver at Johns Hopkins University for a couple seasons before moving on and earning a master's degree from Wolfson College in Oxford, England in 2004.
